Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CanWCC)

The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce is the first and only chamber in the country dedicated specifically to women and non-binary entrepreneurs. They were founded to address the systemic barriers and lack of community connection often faced by marginalized genders in the business world. CanWCC serves as a powerful advocacy voice, bringing the concerns of their members directly to policymakers at the highest levels of government.

Membership with CanWCC provides access to a vibrant virtual community, business workshops on finance and marketing, and exclusive networking opportunities. They offer “Equity Pricing” to ensure that entrepreneurs from all backgrounds—including those with disabilities or in rural areas—can access their resources. By focusing on collaboration rather than competition, they complement the existing business ecosystem while pushing for lasting economic equity.

The Centre offers a diverse array of services, including free short-term counselling, relationship education for youth, and the WiseGuyz program for healthy masculinity. They are also a major supporter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community through programs like Camp Fyrefly and the GSA Network. Their Training Centre works with professionals in all sectors to create safer, more inclusive environments for employees and clients alike.
