About Meghan Huchkowsky

Meghan is a proud board member and is excited to take on her new role as President and Co-Chair. She also acts as out Director of Member Relations. She is a passionate local entrepreneur and co-owner of Doodle Dogs YYC.
“I am excited for my new role as President and Co-Chair on our Board of Directors. I come into this role with 4 years of entrepreneurial leadership experience and a devoted passion for supporting our LGBTQ + community. My role as Director – Member Relations will go hand-in-hand with my co-chair position in providing continuous relationship development with our Members, Sponsors and community. I am looking forward to helping build an even stronger, symbiotic Board of Directors while delivering the best value for our Sponsors and Members. While this year we have faced some trying times for so many businesses, I am proud to say I have seen so much resiliency amongst our LGTBQ + and allied businesses.”
About Saul Benary

Saul sits on our board as Vice-President, Secretary, and Co-Chair. He also represents Alberta on the Canadian LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce. Saul is currently in his third year of law school at the University of Calgary and he hopes to advance the LGBTQ+ community in his future practice.
“It has been so rewarding watching the Chamber grow under Jonathan’s leadership, and I am proud to continue that legacy as Co-Chair, Vice-President, and Secretary. I bring to these roles my rapidly growing legal expertise as a law student and long history advocating for the LGBTQ+ community—my community. Stability and consistency are hard-won traits that every not-for-profit should aspire to. Having achieved these under Jonathan, I will ensure that our Members can continue to rely on the Chamber to deliver and grow our community together.”
