For over 50 years, the Centre for Sexuality has been a leader in Calgary for evidence-informed programs centered on sexual health, healthy relationships, and human rights. They work across the lifespan to normalize sexuality and promote consent, equality, and self-determination. As a community-based organization, they focus on “upstream” prevention, providing individuals with the tools they need to make informed choices about their bodies and relationships.
The Centre offers a diverse array of services, including free short-term counselling, relationship education for youth, and the WiseGuyz program for healthy masculinity. They are also a major supporter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community through programs like Camp Fyrefly and the GSA Network. Their Training Centre works with professionals in all sectors to create safer, more inclusive environments for employees and clients alike.
