We’re launching a province-wide effort to bring together queer-, trans-, and allied-owned businesses, community groups and non-profits into a visible and powerful network. When we stand together, we change the narrative. We shift what’s possible. We remind Alberta (and ourselves) that our community is a force.
This initiative isn’t just about counting businesses and supports. It’s about building momentum:
- Growing queer and trans entrepreneurship at every level, from large employers to early-stage founders, students, artists, and solopreneurs.
- Expanding our media footprint so that Alberta sees the truth: we are here, we are thriving, and we shape this economy.
- Positioning the Chamber for major grants and investments that can fuel a future Queer Futures Centre, expanded mentorship programs and other economic empowerment transformation programs.
- Strengthening our collective voice so we can advocate confidently and unapologetically for the rights and opportunities our community deserves.
